Neo traditional tattoos are characterized by their bold lines, vibrant colors and illustrative looks. With it´s roots from the traditional American tattoo, it is a style that has developed with a broader color palette, depth and dimension. Popular neo traditional subjects include animals, women, portraits, flowers, skulls, daggers, snakes, beads and ornamental details.
The dotwork tattoo style uses a series of dots that link up to create an image. Lights and shadows are created by the amount of dots and the distance between them. The more dots there are, close together, the more darkness. Less dots, more light.
Dotwork is often incorportated into geometric tattoo designs. Geometric tattoos are formed of lines, circles, squares, triangles, and other shapes, which are repeated in captivating and detailed patterns to form a specific design.
Blackwork is a tattoo style that exclusively uses black ink, with strong and precise lines and contrast to create detailed designs.
Fine line tattoos tend to be subtle, delicate and thin. They are made with a small single needle and usually only black ink, creating subtle tattoos with soft shading and delicate line work. They are more discreet, and it is said that they hurt less due to the single needle.
Watercolor tattoos are inspired by and resemble watercolor paintings, they look as if someone has printed a watercolor artwork onto your skin. They don´t use bold lines and use little black ink. Colors are softer and diluted with water. Shades of color blend into each other, fading at the edges.
The most classic of all tattoo styles, also known as old school tattoo, dominated by clean, bold lines, vivid colors and heavy shading. Popular designs include swallows, ships, roses, skulls, eagles and snakes.
We always get asked: "do you only do big tattoos?" The answer is NO: we also love doing mini tattoos. Whatever the size, we understand how important your tattoo is to you.
